Dance Terms

To help, three smaller payments can be made throughout the year, as opposed to one large payment in September.

 

There are 32 weeks of dance instruction during the 2026-27 dance season. Two of these classes will be free of charge, which allows us to cancel two classes due to inclement weather or illness. You will pay for 30 weeks of instruction, with the year divided into three financial terms:

 

Term 1: September 14, 2026 to November 22, 2026

Term 2: November 23, 2026 to February 14, 2027

Term 3: February 15, 2027 to May 9, 2027

Exams

For students completing ballet exams, there is an additional training period.

Term 4: May 10, 2027 to June 16, 2027

Payments

Payments can be made by cash, cheque (payable to Emerald School of Ballet) or e-transfer (emeraldschoolofballet@yahoo.ca)

 

Payment #1: due September 14th, 2026

Payment #2: due November 23rd, 2026

Payment #3: due February 15th, 2027

1/2 hour class             $12.50 per class

3/4 hour class                    $15 per class

1 hour class                                 $17.50 per class 

1 1/4 hour class                                  $20.00 per class

There is a 10% discount off the total tuition fee when 2 classes are taken.

Costume Fee

Each child will receive costumes to wear in our Spring Showcase, held in May. We love recycling costumes and are always brainstorming ways to keep this costume fee to a minimum (and avoid a pile up of tutus in your closets). One costume can meet the needs of many dances, by switching accessories, hairpieces and gems. Expect to pay for one costume that costs between $70 and $80.  We will do the rest! Costume fees

will be due in March, 2027.
